Pet Styling by Becki is a full service salon catering to people and their pets. My “Natural Approach to Pet Care” is suitable for even the most sensitive pets.

I understand that dogs will be dogs and aim to find a balance between easy maintenance and individual style when grooming your pet.

I’m fully experienced and trained to identify your pet’s needs and guarantee to be thorough when your pet is in my care.

Your pets needs are as unique as their personality. Special attention is paid to pets that have insecurities or “issues” surrounding the grooming process.

I am very patient and gentle as I understand that all pets require special treatment to make their experience in our salon a positive one.

Do you have an unusual schedule? I will work with your hectic schedule and provide convenient appointment times to suit your needs.

Careful scheduling allows short appointment times and a minimal number of pets in the facility at one time. This strategy decreases stress on your pet and minimizes time spent in a kennel.

Nail Trimming
All pets are handled with patience and confidence while I carefully trim their nails. Both cats and dogs require regular nail trimming to ensure they do not overgrow and cause health issues. Owners are always welcome to be present if their pet feels more comfortable.

Ear Cleaning/Plucking
All pets ears are thoroughly cleaned using an alcohol free, non-irritating cleaner that removes ear wax and build up. This process decreases “doggy odour” as well as helps prevents health issues such as ear infections. Some pets have excess hair in their ear canals that needs to be carefully removed to allow air flow in the ear – this process is called “plucking”. Please let me know if you do not want this service.

Natural Shampoos and Products
Your pet’s skin is sensitive. Pet Styling by Becki uses Natural Shampoos and Conditioners as well as Organic Sprays and Treatments to help maintain a health skin and coat in all pets.

Blow Drying
This essential part of the grooming process is more beneficial than just drying the coat; it removes excess hair, separates minor tangles, prevents pets from getting chilled and preps the hair to be trimmed. Our dryers range from very powerful to “blast out” hair to whisper quiet for sensitive pets.

Brushing Your Pet
Many pets do not enjoy this part of the grooming process. I use positive reinforcement and calm, assertive energy to encourage cooperation during brushing. I also use specialized tools to ensure the most humane approach to this part of your pets salon experience.

Hair Removal
Whether your pet needs a “hair cut” or just a good old fashioned brushing to remove excess hair, I’m here to meet your request. I am also delighted to provide FREE CONSULTATIONS so you can take advantage of my experience and expertise.
